Essentially, vinyl graphics or vehicle graphics refer to as adhesive stickers that are quite inexpensive and which can be easily applied on any kind of surface. Vinyl lettering can be found as bill board, sign and vehicle stickers. The best thing about vinyl graphics is that the lettering can be removed quite easily with heat in case you want to take them off. At the same time you can customize the vinyl lettering according to your requirements. Another aspect is that vinyl lettering is very long lasting, usually 5-8 years. There are many different vinyl applications depending on your surface type and location.
One of the methods is the freehand method. First remove the rear wax paper from the die cut decal, in this method you will have to take a plastic squeegee that is made of quite firm plastic and press it over the entire transfer tape surface which will make sure that the vinyl graphics is firmly applied to the final surface. Next, you will have to remove the transfer tape or (application tape) now, with a downward motion, at a 90 degree angle remove the application tape. You will find that the entire vinyl graphics and lettering are transferred on to the surface you wanted.
Another method that is quite popular is using the wet method. This method is generally used when you are applying vinyl graphics on a metal or glass surface. Though this method is quite similar to the free hand method, the small difference is that the application surface is made wet with soapy water or special application fluids. In this method no soggy stickers are used. Soapy water or fluid is sprayed on the reverse side of the vinyl graphics and is spread quite evenly so that the graphics get stuck to the glass or metal surface. It is very important to squeegee out all water or any residue left over, or else this may cause vinyl failure or bubbles. Likewise there are quite a few methods which you can use to apply vinyl graphics to any kind of surface you want. So, choose the method you want to and apply vinyl stickers that make a statement of what you are trying to advertise or portray in your creative design.
